How would u like it if it was Jesus or Allah there? It would be all over the news and all sorts, other religions would not accept it so why should we?

this is terrible, why are so many companies using pictures of Indian gods. What are angle are they trying to put their product in other for it to sell? I think there should a worldwide ban on all companies to use images of Indian gods in order to sell items. This has happened too many times for it too be ignored.

Highly disrespectful to the Hindu faith. Not only is it offensive but it has no use on a tobacco related product.

This is ridiculous, why should they use our deities to sell cigarette papers. Somebody should be answerable for this.

Please find below our response to your enquiry. We are also in the process of clarifying the situation on Twitter. “A limited number of these booklets were manufactured over a year ago for a small number of markets, not including the UK. “This was authorised by a former brand manager who is no longer with the company and as far as we are able to ascertain our usual approval processes were not followed. “No further manufacture of these booklets will take place and we apologise for any offence caused. Our investigations continue and we will be working with wholesalers to remove booklets from the supply chain.” Many thanks Simon Simon Evans Group Press Officer Imperial Tobacco Group PLC
