I saw a Ganesh statue in a restaurant TOILET in Berlin and took umbrage for obvious reasons. The management refused to remove it, so I googled it and found this petition :( I hope my signing is purely symbolic and the tobacco paper maker has taken heed of previous signatures. Anecdotally, I bought the Ganesh statue for an exorbitant fee, after the Manager promised he wouldn't just replace it with another... My favourite deity now sits proudly in my living room, next to a statue of his dad :)

Ganesh isnt just a pretty desing for decoration. The makers of Rizla need to wake up and realise this.

Why on Earth would Rizla want to have Ganesh on their tobacco brand??? It's extremely disrespectful and insulting to all Hindus!!!

Remove Ganesh ji from packets and in future, DO NOT PUT any HIndu dieties or Hindu references on cigarette packets!

Religious symbols should be used on products after being given great consideration on how it can effect that religion and its community.

Ganesh puja is carried out when embarking a significant venture in life. The pray is carried out to bless good intentions and prosperity. I cannot see the connection so cannot see any viable argument for.

Disgraceful & distasteful. If it was any other culture rf religion that was humiliated in this way there would be uproar & suicide bombers threatening to blow up Rizla's offices!
