Riverside Rezoning Request Opposition

Vote no to rezoning.

I live in a Eddisto plantation. I don’t want development in this area that is going to lower home values . They are plenty enough areas in the county for low income homes.

I am not in favor of the plans to put apartments or trailer park at the location.

This not a good idea cause we don’t want the sex offenders and murderous to the last safe neighborhood

More research/planning is needed.

I oppose the proposed rezoning of this tract and the uncertain plans for its development.

I am in opposition to this development of the development off of Riverbank Drive.

I do not want this property rezoned.

This development request is very vague. If the developer wants to build luxury single family homes then they should only seek Residential Single Family. They are seeking Residential General and in most cases this company has seemed this refining in other areas and built trailer parks. The traffic on Riverside is already busy. There has been fatalities on the road since it is a two lane road.

No apartments and definitely no trailers…

We need my housing in orangeburg we are going to be jammed in the next five years bc Charleston is full and Columbia is to far for the Volvo industry and everything Charleston puts in around it

This rezoning would be awful. Please pray County Council has the wisdom to vote no to this request.

This is bad for the area

Concern over the disruption of natural habitat of several endangered species

This is NOT a good project for this area or any other area in the county. Little tax revenue and likely a lot of cheap houses or trailers. NO ONE is in favor this project other than the developers.

Strongly disagree with this land being rezoned without any restrictions

This is absurd to even consider allowing this.

The infrastructure of this area will not support the addition population burden
