RISD Rides! Petition for more door to door hours + pick students up anywhere (not just an on campus location)!!

please do this. someone got mugged right outside of my apartment during peak exiting and entering hours. my apartment is part of school housing yet there is little to no security and I am a little nervous exiting and entering every day.

Keep the community and students safe.

I feel unsafe walking anywhere at night and usually have to pay for an Uber if I want to get home safe or get to studio safely at night.

And pick up from all dorms please!<3

Yes!! I've felt this way for a long time

we need this especially for POC students who will likely be increasingly targetted by white nationalists emboldened by the new republican government. Also it seems like lately campus has been less of a safe haven from crime, recently ppl where robbed at gun point right outside of colonial appartments so walking around even in groups isnt always safe. Uber is also expensive and Brown already does these things for their students. Please consider making these changes

It's REALLY unfair when R.I.S.D. rides refuses to pick students up from Charles Landing (which is PART of RISD campus), to another R.I.S.D. building. North Main Street is NOT safe at night, especially around the park! If shuttle services are provided from (ex. 15 West to any stop on R.I.S.D. campus), why can't Charles Landing students be given the same service? Brown University has amazing services when it comes to picking up and dropping off students... Hopefully some of their success can be implemented at R.I.S.D.

Walking from Charles Landing to the studio feels unsafe, walking from friend's apartments at night feels equally so.
