The school children in our community need a safe path for riding their bikes to school and back.
Among the arguments I have heard for not having a bike path:
'we don't want the path because we won't have a place for guests to park when. We have parties'
Please.
Let's have a Carmel which values children's safety, education, and community.

I live in Hatton Fields and used to live in Mission Fields and have a son who used to ride to school on his bike. I see countless school children and families as well as dog walkers trying to walk along this busy stretch of road. A bike path would make this a safer place for everyone!

I walk from the end of Rio up towards the Mission everyday -- this stretch is the WORST part of my daily routine because of the lack of a pedestrian friendly pathway. I would love to see this change!
