Help STOP the proposed 4 storey, 20 apartment building at 1 Laurence Grove, Ringwood East

The existing proposal to be built on a single block of land (1171 sqm) is an inappropriate and oversized development, in one of Melbourne's unique suburban pockets.

• Loss of vegetation
• Building too close to the street
• Negative impact on the character of the area
• Four stories is too high
• Loss of on street parking
• Negative impact on pedestrians due to additional traffic
• Poor integration with the existing streetscape
• Over-development of the site
• Use of public laneway for vehicles is not appropriate
• Overshadowing and loss of daylight to neighbouring properties
• Overall increase in noise to area because of the number of apartments and their proximity to each other
