In 1924 the first winter Olympics happened. Ice Hockey was in the Olympics, but only for males. The Olympics had no problem with the sport being only for males and not for females. Ringette was invented in 1963 and when Ringette applied into the Olympics, it was turned down. One of the reasons was, males did not participate in the sport, and only females did. The question is, why was hockey allowed to be in the Olympics when it wasn't a female sport. But Ringette isn't a males sport so the Olympics committee won't let it into the Olympics.  We find this unfair and know that this is only one of the reasons. Another reason is that Ringette isn't popular enough. So if you sign our petition you will be proving two things. You think Ringette should be allowed in the Olympics for just females and later males can join too. Also Ringette is growing popular enough to become an Olympic sport.
