Bring Bill Conti\'s THE RIGHT STUFF score to CD!
In 1983, "The Right Stuff," a film based upon Tom Wolfe\'s book about "...how the future began," (America breaking the sound barrier after WWII and the start of the Mercury program) was released to wide critical aclaim. Amidst an ensemble cast, an incredible script filled with humor, suspense, and poignant sensitivity, was one of Bill Conti\'s all time best music scores--which garnered him one of the film\'s FOUR Academy Awards. Yet, surprisingly, that score was never released. Bits and pieces on a couple compilation volumes, but never in its entireity. Film score fans have wanted this score to become available, but so far, nothing has developed. If you love this score, and the movie, now is your chance to be heard! Let\'s contact Film Score Monthly with our numbers and get them on it!
