I am writing this petition to try and get the court to drop my husbands case. They are trying to get him on a gun possession charge for having the gun in OUR TRUCK in MY parking lot because I kicked him out while there was a protection order in play. He did not intentionally break this law. The gun and the truck are also my property. The protection order on my side has been dropped, this was all a huge misunderstanding on both sides. we have since healed our marriage in JESUS. The court is refusing to drop this. Please help me to prove the court is wrong for holding this against him. He doesn't deserve possibly five years in prison for something so stupid.
