All American have the right to work, with dignity and respect in whatever careers they choose. After all that is one of the things that Constitution promises for ALL it's citizens. And when you consider the consequences - poverty, possible homelessness, etc - I think it's far less expensive to allow a man (transgender or not) to work and earn a [living] wage, than to end up in abject poverty.

As a federal and state worker i applaud any and all efforts used by Mr. James to not only survive but thrive in any employment opportunity. The conditions he has had to endure in San Francisco is appalling and rips at the very fabric the city stands for - DIVERSITY. I admire and respect his need to be. Go forward Mr. James with your head up and chest out!!!

I just got in from work and want to take the time to say Thank You for your support. It is the evening of the Trans march in San Francisco. It is a unfortunate situation for me that due to the harassment and humiliation that my employer the City and County of San Francisco has allowed caused me to completely forget about this eventful moment of Pride. I look forward to marching next year with the momentum of your support.
