San Francisco has some of the most expansive policies in nation for protecting the rights of trans folk, promoting their health and protecting their dignity. It is disappointing to hear that they are not living up to the ideals they have espoused.

At a time when the country is attempting to move forward in its binary way of thinking it is important to remember that in the movement forward to not forget to make room at the table for everybody to be who they are. That this be done not as some public display of acceptance but respected as useful beings that are a viable part of society with viable contributions.

I want to express my thanks to all of you. As we get support and begin to prepare for having this case in court in Feb of 2016, I wanted to extend the opportunity for those of you who are dealing with or know someone who is dealing with a Hostile Environment as a Transgender person to share their story.
If you have a desire to share your story, please go to my Facebook page FIGHTING FOR PRIDE AGAINST PREJUDICE. Although I am dealing with this issue with the City and County of San Francisco, I am aware that there are many of you who have no support.

It is Saturday, and we are finishing out the first week of this petition. I want to express my thanks to all of you who have signed and continue to give support. I have had some conversations with some really good people this week and the desire to create non hostile work environments for transgender people is a very real request. We are productive participants in society and we have the Right to Work in a non hostile work environment.

It's Tuesday evening two days after Pride weekend. I want to say thank you for keeping this petition alive. This is a very moving experience for me. to see the support come in. This case is going to trial Feb 1st of 2016 and in all honesty I hope to have even more than 1,000 signatures. We are one community, We are contributors to society, and we all deserve the Right to Work While being Transgender without being harassed on the job. Thank you for your continued support,.
