WATER IS A HUMAN RIGHT

We are calling For Trinity College Students Union to hold a referendum to recognise that Access to water is recognised as a human right by the United Nations. The Irish constitution supports the distribution of vital community resources, like water, on the grounds of the common good.

I believe that that Trinity College SU should recognise that the introduction of water charges infringes on both these rights.

Trinity College Students Union Should hold a Referendum to support Abolishing water charges and ensure water is provided to all citizens, irrespective of their income.
