Click here if you agree with us that at 16 one should be able to vote in the UK. Click here if you think it does not make sense that one cannot vote at 16 but can do the following: ◦leave school and enter work or training ◦pay income tax and National Insurance ◦obtain tax credits and welfare benefits in their own right ◦consent to sexual relationships ◦get married or enter a civil partnership ◦change their name by deed poll ◦become a director of a company ◦join the armed forces If we acheive this change, the benefits will be massive. For example, it will get youngsters intrested in politics and give them a chance to feel like part of the country.

SERIOUSLY. i can get married but i cant vote? the system is broken and outdated. let us have a voice already!

If i can work and pay taxes then i should have a say in who runs this country. its basic common sense really.
