Dear Congress, Do you want to make a huge impact on the education system? Then give children the right to have Montessori classrooms in their schools. It’s easy--any school can do it. And everyone benefits. I’m proposing a bill that mandates a school to start a Montessori classroom if enough parents of 3-5 year olds in the school district ask for it. Seriously. Montessori can transform education to be the way we want. And once people know what it really is--they want it too. We can’t lose. I am a high school math teacher. I have two children in public schools and another on her way in a couple years. I taught in a Montessori school where Cornell professors send their children before they go to public school.
