I have been reading your stories about the near misses on our street and it confirms exactly why I started this. The danger here is real and the current speed of traffic is unacceptable for anyone trying to live their lives in peace. I am currently compiling your feedback to ensure the Director of Public Works hears the full scope of our safety concerns.

Seeing so many neighbors speak up about the dangers on our street left me speechless. It is clear that we are all tired of treating Riggins Ridge like a highway when our families are trying to live here in peace.

No parking directly in front of peoples driveways to where they can’t get out properly
Due to the excessive speeding down Makeover Ct, all cars are backed into the driveway so that exiting is safer.
Pleasseee because I’m on Alveston near mailboxes and park and people stay flying down the street. I don’t even let my 6 year old play out front because it makes me nervous!
The power is out on the streets and just saw a car driving at least over 50min. Cars are always flying up and down the streets. It’s an all day and every day thing. This is very needed.
The parking signs need to have a wrecker service listed otherwise they hold no weight according to GA law. This includes the mailboxes.
We need speed bunps

People treat this street like a drag strip every single night. I have to wait forever just to back out of my own driveway smh.
