It really stinks to be told that riding isn't a sport. To be told that 'you just sit there' is the worst thing a rider can hear. Riders are often not taken seriously and sometimes even made fun of or bullied. We all know that it takes a heck of a lot of courage to even get on a 1,000 lb animal, let alone control it.
