I understand there is an upcoming meeting to discuss the interpretation and application of our Association covenants. I would like to express our opinion as a member of the H OA that section 8 of our H OA covenants prohibit temporary structures should not and does not apply to children swingsets and other recreational equipment. That section is meant to prohibit structures of storage or building nature that would be an eyesore to the community. The Nile of swingsets and other recreational equipment, such as basketball hoops and volleyball nets, would go against the principles of our covenants and values of our family oriented community. Furthermore it would only serve to reduce our home values and the attractiveness of our neighborhood, being a family neighborhood, the potential homebuyers.
