We need a third classification. We don't fit into employee status or independent contractor. We need some type of protection from deactivation due to passengers false accusations.

I’ve been a driver a little bit over two years I have been in the corporate world for about 36 years I like what I do no I love what I do that is my passion driving meeting people from all over the world I love my flexibility and it’s up to me if I want to work and don’t work in reality I really don’t call this job I called a gig making money

If this ever goes into effect, work as we know it will ruin the freedom we currently enjoy. That said, if you don’t sign this petition, be prepared to work on a schedule and pay for fees to be permitted to drive for a ride share company. In closing, enjoy what we have today, because tomorrow we may never have the opportunity.

I had a stroke and as of now, I cant be a nurse anymore. Thanks to lyft I can drive when I want and still have an income.
