I feel it's not right for students to have to wear uniforms. I strongly believe that you sould wear what they want, to express themselves. I understand that there needs to be a dress code but, students must be comfortable in their own skin or what I'm saying is students feel better in what they think is suitable for them with in dress code of no tank tops no shorts that are shorter than finger tips and no showing of boobs and must not show belly off, if students follow these rules I believe that we don't need uniforms. Some uniforms are itchy and uncomfortable and expensive and you need more than just one so your looking at a big hole in your pocket. Over all, I will keep my strong disagreement with school uniforms.

school uniforms are horrible they don't fit and the whole school hates them. i wish they would just let us wear our regular clothes i got to swann middle school and i wish we could wear our regular clothes uniforms is what makes out school look so dead.

I hate school uniforms, they're so uncomfortable and impractical. Where would I even use my uniform outside of school? Honestly, it's a waste of money. I'd be way happier to learn in comfy clothes.

Enough with school uniforms.We are not commies and we are not in the medieval times.Some people cant afford school uniforms and kids are forced to wear them.A uniform doesn't affect a child's learning ability

School uniforms take away individuality.
When the clothing rules are broken, even at the slightest, kids get sent to the office and aren't allowed to learn.
Some schools tweek the uniforms over voicemail and some of the students aren't aware. For example I wasn't aware that we couldn't wear spirit wear on Fridays anymore and was called to the office. If they are going to change anything they need to ask the teachers to inform all of their students and they need to announce it for at least 2 to 3 days for absent students. Do not depend on technology.
There is no pride in wearing uniforms at school so I don't know where this type of thinking comes from. This isn't the uniformed services. We don't have to earn the privilege to wear our uniform and no body will get in trouble for wearing another schools uniform. Schools from where I'm currently residing have the same uniform options so you won't be able to tell which school someone comes from anyway.
There is no freedom in being told what to wear.
Kids will find a way to bully each other no matter what . It could be their facial features, the way they talk, their home life situations, gossip, etc.
Uniforms are an unnecessary expense coming out of our parents pockets. They have to buy regular clothes and school uniforms. This doesn't help the families with financial struggles. They have to wear used uniforms sometimes and if people notice that, they could get picked on for having a "grungy" uniform or not being clean.
When kids are learning they should be comfortable so that they can focus and the people incharge know this. That is why my school lets us wear what we want for the end of course testing. Why shouldn't it be that way everyday?
A dress code would be less outrageous. With a dress code kids can still wear what they want for the most part they just can't wear things that are deemed inappropriate.

I really hope the uniform policy is disbanded because it is awful and hypocritical. The schools tell the students to be themselves and to express themselves yet they make them all wear the same uniform! Now tell me, where's the individuality in that? That's right, there is none. Not to mention the fact the schools basically subscribe to communism when they force the kids to wear uniforms because they make they kids all dress the same. If the teachers don't have to wear uniforms why should the kids?

I hate school uniforms. Not only can some families not afford them, but they don't allow us to express ourselves. What we wear is a big part of our personality, and uniforms take that away.

At my school we have to wear uniforms too ( Arthur F. Smith Middle Magnet/ Jonestreet Junior High ) and i think that we should get rid of uniforms because its not fun if you cant see the types of clothes are into so thats why i want to get rid of uniforms
