Richard Gill's christmas gift which was a pigeon 'Geoffrey' recently died. Richard at first was bothered by his death but then New Years Eve came along and more beer soon dashed any memories of Geoffrey. But it has turned out Richards' pigeon Geoffrey one night had too much seed and planted his own seed in Doris leaving two offspring behind which need cared for.
