We do not need another supermarket in this area. We do not need increased traffic in an area where there is a school. Utilise the area and fix the soccer pitches for the club that has the largest junior participation in the state.

We don’t need another shopping centre next to an existing shop! Leave some open areas alone and stop building into our Parks and open space!

The notion that trying to turn an open green space into a block of shops is dumb. Promote green spaces and all of the benefits they accumulate.

Really, does the world need another shopping centre? How can we support small business when council make decisions like this? Sunnybrook shops will close and it will turn into a carpark. What about the people in surrounding areas, will market value decrease? I say no!

Green space is not vacant space. Parks are crucial for the biodiversity to stay intact and flourish. green areas ultimately save our cities, they clean the air we breathe, provide well needed homes for native birds and animals, and provide a stress free lifestyle for the public. By diminishing green area we are consciously degrading native flora and fauna Which is needed for the valuable food web. I’d think that there are more than enough shops and malls in this area to satisfy everyone’s needs.
