This petition asks the Bass Coast Shire Council: that it DOES NOT destroy any trees and shrubs along the foreshore at Rhyll, between the Angling Club and the Cairn; that it DOES NOT asphalt the parallel parking in this area, that it DOES NOT install curbing in this area; that it DOES NOT install a concrete path thus destroying the grassy picnic area next to the Cairn, that it DOES NOT modify the footpath along Beach Road from gravel to concrete. We are requesting that the Bass Coast Shire Council does everything in its power to retain the village like character of Rhyll, retain the foreshore vegetation and keep the natural grassy verges and gravel pathways.
