The park facilities are in a right state and have been declining for years, they are not fit for young children to play on as the picture shows, best to act now Vale of Glamorgan Council before children get hurt!

This issue is ridiculously overdue for some attention from the local authority, our parks are unsafe and ill equipped to deal with the amount of children in the area!!!

Disgusting and should be replaced. This is not only a danger to children but an eyesore for the community!

Absolutely disgraceful the state of the parks, very dangerous for little Ines and no facilities for older ones

I live in Rhoose and feel that some of the parks need money spent on them.Im signing this petition in the hope that you hear the voices of the rhoose parents and children, and place money back in the rhoose area and community as it is so needed. Some of these parks are not only looking tired but also dangerous.

Rhoose needs more parks for a growing population of families. Barry and cowbridge seem to get funding for facilities and Rhoose doesn't

There are lots of new development in the village in the way of housing but nothing in the way of facilities for the people who are going to live in the new houses the reality is that they aren't building communities but future slums real investment needs to be made to insure community intergration and this starts with the youngest in our society growing up in the village we had good safe parks to play in and everyone new each other young and old creating a strong sense of community it makes me sad that this is no longer the case I can remember going to the shop for my mum and the old age pensioners would call out from their doors and ask if you could get something for them while you were there this is what it means to be a community and it all starts with play in the parks

This is a great start at getting our voices heard!! Like every1 has said, rhoose is getting bigger and bigger, they have nothing to do, and what they do have is falling apart!! Would also love to see the skatepark updated!! Soo many children play there, and i think its the only metal one in the vale!! They need a nice new wooden one!! And of course knock down that awful park up celtic way!!!!!!

The Parks and Recreation area's for the children of Rhoose are inadequate and beyond poor for our children. Our children deserve the right to play in a safe environment and the so called area's are full of rust and non existent....enough is enough our children deserve better.

Children of Rhoose have no decent parks to play in Seems Rhoose is forgotten about and given its growing at a rapid pace the children deserve more & better !! Pull your fingers out !!

We deserve the best for our children just as much as families in the rest of the vale of Glamorgan. Why should we be put up on the back of the shelf and suffer. We are meant to be a middle class villiage with quite posh areas, but looking at these parks it's not very posh, more like deprived!!

The children deserve better. It would be so nice to see a splash park in Rhoose.
