This site is a perfect setting for a drop off point for traffic going to and from Lucan ET School - this would drastically improve traffic flow and children's safety in the area. A part of the land could also be used as a community garden where residents could plant and harvest their own produce.

Don't need more housing. Need facilities for the kids already here. A playground that you can WALK to with a toddler would be nice.

180th and 142nd Lucan Scout Groups could really do with some land to build a Scout Den. Both groups currently serving approx 180 children in this catchment area but renting in 5 different locations because we have no home. Community space badly needed in Lucan south.

Hopefully the council will provide some of the land to the school to finally have a safe drop off point for the children at LETS

I agree that this land should be removed for sports facilities for surrounding schools. The schools have no areas to play team sports.

Can't see the council re zoning this land it's worth money whether they build on it or not. Hopefully they will rezone this land and put in the much needed parking area.

Lucan is choked with traffic as it is, building more houses anywhere will exacerbate the congestion. The area also desperately needs community facilities not more houses.
