Rezone of Prevedel Property

I moved out here to enjoy the quiet. This brings grocery stores, buses, more and more and more traffic! If this happens next will be hooper.

We need to be able to protect our way of life and the future of our community from money grubbing vultures!

All of this multiple residential has to stop! They are destroying our neighborhood! Who knows the procedure for recalling a mayor and City Council members?

This is a mess. It is exactly what I moved to West Haven to get away from, and now you want to put it up the street from me.

Slow down the madness! City officials need to think about what is best for all of West Haven.

I oppose this! I feel West Haven City is only looking out for how much money they’re bringing in and not what’s best for the residents. Things need to change!

We need to keep our farms!

We need to slow down the high density growth in West Haven.

Nothing against Henry, but this is disgusting. We live across the street from him on 1800. The subdivision up the street already requires two buses for the elementary school kids because they won’t all fit in one. They keep building houses but I don’t see any schools being built. A traffic light is needed at 1800S/1900W as it is. We rural bought property for a reason and housing development is ruining West Haven. They should rename it West Ogden because that’s what’s coming.

This is not well thought out and is strictly about money. I understand land is going to be developed but high denistiy is the wrong direction for West Haven.

Just say no

Stop this madness. When the city was developed it was 1 acre lots, country living, with a required amount of smaller lots in designated areas. Now country living is the minority. Our street 2200 used to be quiet now is a race way. I can’t imagine what 1800 will be.

We live here for the country feel. Rezoning using the non buildable acres to meet the current ordinance shows a lack of integrity on the part of the planning commission and Steve Anderson to what is really going on. This must be stopped. West Haven City must realize these high density (that is what this really is) developments only increase the calls to the Sheriffs office. The main driver for proposed City taxes is of course the massive increase in Sheriffs bill to West Haven City that is driven by the number of calls.

AGAINST-Too many homes on too little land. Do not rezone.

Please preserve this sweet community and avoid overcrowding the schools.

Keep the country feel! High density housing brings crime and congestion. This is straight money, and it’s just stupid

I approve of this petition. The current mixed-use ordinance needs a more clear and legal definition. Rezoning of the Prevedel property would be in violation of the best practices described by the land=use lawyer who spoke to the City Council last evening. The Ivory Homes proposal would put too many homes on too little land.

I am in full support of this petition. In my opinion the only people that would be in favor of this over crowded development are the people making money from a distance. Not the people in our community who are directly impacted. This would negatively change the entire face of our quiet community.
