Every land owner has a right to do what they want, but the problem is the city/planning commission changing the zoning to accommodate big developers. Land owners don't care what is done to their land- its the $$ check at the end for their investment they care about. The city keeps changing things to allow high density housing and mass development. At this rate in a few years you can just call us West Ogden.

This proposed development is not well thought out. If you’re going to have a walking community, you need businesses to walk to, not just other homes.

I bet if every body who signed this petition owned this land they would feel different. Henry has supported the community for his entire life and to have you turn on him. That is wrong. It is his ground and he should be able to do with it as he sees fit. I am sure this has a lot to do with the LDS church approval. The belief of having many kids where do you want them to live if you do not want more housing? I want Henry to be allowed to proceed forward.

West Haven doesn't need so much high density. I know you wont stop building, but at least build single family homes on an acre.

We have a unique area with nice homes...save the track high density houses for a neighborhood that already has those type of houses...

Stop the growth!!! West Haven used to actually be "Country living at it's finest." Now it is a nightmare! Traffic gets worse daily, the elementary school is overcrowded, kids can't ride their bikes without worrying about getting run over! What happened to 1 acre lots and green space? We don't want more businesses. We don't want more traffic. We don't want high-density housing. Maybe spend a little less on the giant fireworks show and a little more on the roads and other infrastructure?

West Haven incorporated as a city to ensure it was kept rural. The City Officals have only allowed its growth. It’s time we stopped it.

I used to love the fact that there was more unused space than structures. More people, more traffic. We left slc to get away from the high population & traffic. Im sad seeing all this growth.

I have been looking for property in this area. It is where I grew up and would love to build here. We have held off on buying land because of all the proposed town house developments. We are waiting to see what happens before me decide where to build. Especially with West Haven having the absolute minimum patrolling by the Sheriffs Office.

Increase in population = increase in crime. If you think adding a police force (does anyone realize the true cost of having one and the different departments it will have to have?) will make it so crime goes down... you're wrong. We moved here a little less than a year ago because we loved the country/rural feel and look. It'll be very sad to see it go. I for one, and I'm sure many others, would look at moving again to get away from the crowds.

West Haven already has enough rentals , let alone a new subdivision. We must stop it!!!!
