Rezone Downtown Pella to Allow "Cocktail Lounges" Like The Cellar Peanut Pub Along the Square

Very much needed in Pella!

I grew up being taught that drinking establishments were where morally corrupt people go. Nothing could be further from the truth. Normal people enjoy a place to meet friends and just hang out for a while without having the burden of hosting at home. Just ONE reason.

I have worked in Pella during tulip time for twenty years and the number one question I get is... where can I find a beer in this town

First of all what a great little town you have! Love the character and charm of the square. In my several visits I would have enjoyed a nice social place to have an afternoon beverage and think those establishments should be allowed there. Looking forward to my next visit and that actual beverage. Thank you for considering this option!
