This is not good for Minneapolis, other solutions need to be considered, its horrible. This plan could ruin Minneapolis.

I feel that this plan would ruin our neighborhood, and drive people to suburbs when they are finally returning.

This plan puts all affordable neighborhoods at risk to speculators.

2040 re zones block after block of single family homes into large scale 100 unit apartments. A carpet bombing of re zoning Mpls, given to REITs and LLCs who will still keep vacancies tight to keep profits high. 2040 disincentives home ownership, pushing the scale towards keeping the younger generation renters for life.

2040 must have associated setback, height (not story), greenspace and footprint code associated with it - now, not later. The act of codifying height, footprint and permeability is necessary for the public to assess the plan. Without this code, it's a blank check for developers and a grave loss for Minneapolis.
