Punishment for not selling is absolutely crazy! The stuff in the fundraiser is priced sky high and made very cheap! I'm tired of throwing away money just to let my kids play on this so called fun day! I think I'll start keeping them out on this day and spend my money on them instead of these price gouging con artists!

This needs to stop it's unfair and completely unacceptable for some kids to sit out while others get to play!

I don't think children should be asked to sell anything at school.

It's not fair everyone should be able to attend or not have it.

I recently got laid off and now because money is tight, my daughter can't have fun day

This is an awful practice that affects more kids than you think. Please stop with the If you don't sell anything, you don't get to participate in Fun Day.

So disappointed that my kids feel like they HAVE to sell one thing to keep from being excluded or more than a certain amount to get a prize. They need to do away with the fundraisers all together because I have seen no benefits of this.

Never Ever should a child be left out because he or she didn't sell any or enough of anything. Everyone knows it's the parents who sell it anyway. This is terrible.

I was extremely disappointed when I seen the fundraiser incentives. I almost always feel obligated to buy at least one thing so they can participate. But now they have taken it way too far. Half the time the quality sucks. I also know not everyone can purchase at least one thing. Now it is one thing and then goes up based on the amount spent. It's ridiculous.

I agree that this is sad! Most of the thing in these books are WAY over priced! Many families out here struggle just to pay bills. Now we have to have one thing bought just for them to play outside! That is completely unheard of!

SOlely based on income of family of who wants to spend more money. If it was based upon reading or learning like a school.is suppose to do it I would be for it. But this is awful. We will spend our day at chucky cheese a lot cheaper and a lot more fun.

It's not fair to all families. Especially ones with me Than one kid. The products aren't cheap

I too think it's unfair for a child to have sit inside during fun day for not selling at least one overpriced item. Some families struggle financially and can barely afford to feed their kids. Either make it fair where ALL kids get to participate in fun day or do away with the program all together.

It isn't fair to a lot of the kids. Last year we got Jaleb out early because I forgot to sell for him.

Overpriced junk, but I always tried to buy something from my grandkids and the school system knows those that can will. Many can't.

I agree 100% with this! I have two children at WPS, which means that we have to sell $100 worth of stuff for both of them to be able to do the obstacle course. We haven't had much time to sell things this year. Their father is with the National Guard and has been in Beaufort for the past week helping with the hurricane. We were worrying about him and making sure he has everything he needs and weren't able to sell anything. I have to buy something from each of them just so they can go to fun day. Our money will be tight due to my husband being with the guard instead of at his civilian job. Try to explain to your child(ren) that can't do something their friends will probably get to because people don't want to buy junk.
