Keep coach Powell as Dunbar head coach,,,,,, it seems to me that he Connects with the kids and he is a former Dunbar high student so he knows what it take not to mention he was brought up threw many generations of Dunbar greats. There were no mistakes her but only an act of man just trying to see the kids win in a city that has had it's lions share of Loss and trauma. Please give coach Dee his job back , he really the best coach for us also like a father to us as well . we all really love him as our dad in everything we have a wonderful connection in bond with him

Powell has done an excellent job with the program. Punishment was too strong, he deserves to keep his team and to continue cleaning it and building a strong foundation. He's needed at Dunbar and for DPS sports. He's help guide many kids to bigger and better things by going to college.

DPS obviously does not care about consistency or the wellbeing of the kids. On one hand you justify renewing Baker by saying let's put this behind us and move forward. Two months later you find it necessary to scapegoat Coach Powell. This is terrible leadership and the Boards incompetence only seems to get worse. Stop the madness and give Powell his job back.
