I agree school uniforms do not stop bullying or judging. you still got shoes,hair,if your clothes looked washed or not. and I agree about it'll cost less to just buy normal clothes and make kids a lot happier to go to School when they get to wear there favorite shirt or something.

As a graduate of Anacoco schools, attending from kindergarten to graduation, I despised uniforms. The uniforms were not made for all body types, therefore, making it extremely difficult to find the proper style and colors that would fit dress code and that would also be comfortable. The uniforms did not help the bullying of lower income families due to the fact of being able to tell which clothing items were purchased at Walmart verses American eagle. In my opinion uniforms are not beneficial in aiding with bullying or any other aspect. Uniforms make it harder for families due to the fact of forcing them to purchase a school wardrobe and civilian wardrobe.

Having to buy two set of clothes for school and regular wear is super expensive!! If the older kids don't have to wear them, why should my 5 year old!

Uniforms cost families more money because we are having to buy "street" clothes and "school" clothes and they are steadily growing 2-3 times in one school year. Do away with them!

I don’t feel that it is fair because the minority in this district work construction work, which is not something you can depend on each week with Weather conditions!! Most keep can afford uniforms and everyday clothes so on picture day they have to where their uniform plus they also have to wear on weekend because that is all parent can buy. The purpose was so all
Childern would feel
Equal but that left the building a long time ago. Not everyone is on a fixed budget.

I've never agreed with uniforms. Go to find your child in a crisis. What do you say? "Oh, my child is dressed just like that one, but with such and such hair color and pink shoes..." yeah...real helpful
