I left Columbia. But y'all still my school. I think y'all should wear boots especially since is going to be a cold winter! If Ms. Amy doesn't allow boots some of y'all could suffer from frost bite. Which is untreatable and severe. I hope this petition works for y'all good luck!!!

I am Fine with actually wearing uniform. But no boots??? That's going entirely to far. I feel that if the boots are the color they asked for their should be no problem. I refuse to walk to my bus stop on a cold Fall or winter morning with freezing toes. No. I absolutely disagree. I will faithfully where my uggs, and any other boots as soon as it gets cold. I guess I will sit in iss EVERYDAY.

Ok , I'm a senior & uniforms was one thing .. Which I ain't have no problem with but i really don't understand this no boots rule . Its only September and these last few days have been chilly so yall know we bout to have a cold winter ! Why are BOOTS a problem ? I heard somebody say they "bedroom shoes" ??? How are they such a problem now when we been wearing em since we was freshmen ??? I just feel like there are more important things administration should pay attention to , like for one some of the rude staff !!! And for two , there are people walkin round Columbia with NO uniform on Period . Like make them a priority over someone with a uniform on with uggs... But this petition not gone solve our problem , ms amey nem could care less what WE talkin bout cuz we kids in her eyes ... Yall better tell yall parents to speak up about it .

Ms. Amey is a dictator. She treats us like we are elementary students and then turn around and calls us young adults. She don't know what she wants us to be. She acts like we are a bad undisciplined school. This is too far. She needs to get to a military school.

There is one thing to have us in uniform, but another to have us frezzing and not wearing boots and thing to keep us warm in the school. Think about the children that has to walk to school its been very cold the last couple of winters. As I state again this is totally unfair and as the a senior student of Columbia high school I feel as though we are been in treat like we are bad kids in a disciplinary school. As student we are well behave and shouldn't be treated this way!!!! Unfair. I didnt imagine being a senior could be this horrible and miserable.

Honestly , I feel Amy is basically dictating everything that goes in at the school . For one she already took away the freedom of using wearing normal clothes and shoes and now she is defiantly going to far with the boots knowing how cold it gets up here . If she decides to push it too with the jackets those will be two rules I will constantly break !

I don't think Amy would pay attention to this so I say instead of just having this petition we should just protest after school or before school maybe if we call the news back up to the school the problem really would be solved cause we all know she hates to be out in a public eye... I say deal with the problem head on.... The school is so focused on our clothes and shoes but not our education... Smh
