It is the basic role of government to govern within the bounds of the resources. If you cannot maintain the current levels of services at the current level of taxation then it is time to eliminate, condense, or otherwise cut costs.

Enough is enough. Vehicle licenses are a State revenue and a city should have not business adding to it. There are many struggling and that $20 could easily decide if they can pay for liability insurance or not.

Quit using taxpayer money irresponsibly. Show us where all the money is going. I’m sure you’ll magically be able to find money to fix roads that have been needing to be fixed for two years when you can’t use taxpayer dollars to pay for your gas and lunches. Can we get some honest council members who actually represent the people who voted them in please?

Why do lawmakers think they can go against the vote of the people?
The $30 car tabs have morphed over time and has been added to for all kinds of different shyte, including building new stadiums for overgrown children.
We don't not want this $20 increase in car tabs
