I have been reading through the messages you are all leaving and it is clear that we are all terrified about what happens when the internet stops being an open space for everyone. They think they can slip this past us without a fight but they clearly underestimate how much we rely on a free web to connect with our families and build our lives.

Seeing this momentum grow reminds me of how much we stand to lose if we let the internet become a luxury for the few. This surge of energy proves that people are finally waking up to the reality of the paywalls and throttled speeds coming for our favorite sites. We have to keep this pressure on until these restrictive rules are officially scrapped.

total garbage. the internet is for everyone not just for the cable companies to squeeze extra cash out of us.
greed at its finest. they want to put a price tag on everything we do online. dont let it happen.
So tired of corporations trying to own everything on the web. Leave it alone.
My netflix is gonna buffer 24/7 if they do this. Ajit pai has no idea what he is doing to normal people.
Fix this now. We already pay for internet access we shouldnt have to pay extra just to actually use it.
As I was saying before an accidental button press: The internet must stay free! We depend on it way too much , and if the prices are above our budgets, there's going to be some major backlash. Not just in the USA. ALL of us are going to feel this blow. Smaller towns depend on fair rates to stay above water, yet are still suffering. Many people gave up cable and netflix years ago to afford basic internet. It's becoming harder and harder to find companies that don't force you to buy bundles. We've already sacrificed our confidentiality and security to google, facebook, etc. And if you didn't know that already, then shame on you. Don't deny it. It's already happened. We are dependent on the internet. Our lives are plugged into it. It is a part of us, and we it. It takes less than a minute to sign this petition. Share it. Link it. Stop this lobbyist bill from coming to pass!
