Peter Robertson, an eighth grade English teacher at Northwestern Middle School, was recently forced into resignation due to a friendly, harmless prank on another teacher. While he misjudged the possible consequences of his act, Mr. Robertson is undeserving of such an oppressive penalty. He has been a positive influence on the lives of hundreds of students and teachers at Northwestern. Not only is he an effective instructor, he also operates four extracurricular clubs at Northwestern, more than any other faculty member. The goal of this petition is to receive the attention of the administrators at Northwestern Middle School and display how much we care about Mr. Robertson. He has truly changed the lives of many students at Northwestern and does not deserve to be crippled by a meltdown of another teacher.
