No regulations should be passed unless they have a appropriately scrutinised and confirmed scientific data to support the need for their introduction. Ignoring farmer provided scientific data that challenges the desired political outcome, is indefensible!

Anything can be proven scientifically, especially when the premise of the experiment, its hypothesis are not rigorously examined. Additionally, any environmental issue cannot be investigated in several years as environmental factors such as weather, tidal & wave action are long term cyclic factors, occurring over decades. There are many examples of this throughout Australia's history.

Any government policy based on flawed science that effects this country and its people needs to be torn up and a new policy developed.
