This is so hypocritical towards farmers and we need farmers to grow fresh food for our nation and the government statement of figures appears fraudulent to push an agenda without informed information or has deliberately fudged the figures either way the amendment should be rescinded.

I support Dr Peter Ridd's knowledge and believe farmers need to be free of ridiculous regulations so that they can produce the food that we need. Over-regulation is disastrous.

I have been diving all my life, what is happening now is nothing new, have seen the reef in worse state before. It will recover on its own. Cyclones do far more damage than man. The silt doesn't reach the reef at all.

Reef Regs are based on Voodoo Science produced by a totally discredited University (JCU).
They should be summarily withdrawn and JCU should be defunded.
