Burying toxic waste 108 feet from the ocean in a densely populated area (8.5 million people within 50 mile radius) is absolutely unacceptable. So Cal Edison should research locations in the uninhabited California desert. This lack of planning and foresight is unacceptable

Storing this nuclear waste at San Onofre is a recipe for disaster, like Fukushima.

Burying this poison near the sea wall on an Earthquake Fault line is Insane!!!Take it deep into the desert!

The current plan is nuts and VERY shortsighted. Edison needs to store this waste properly away from corrosive seawater; this isn't a short-term problem and we can't undo damage once it occurs. Tides, earthquakes and sea level rise will short-circuit these canisters in short order. Make this storage LITERALLY bombproof. San Onofre is NOT the place to store this material. This site way too close to too many environmental hazards and to major population centers. At least store this material where earthquakes and corrosion aren't obvious factors. How shortsighted can we be? Shame on us.

With much better and safer alternative storage sites this pla to store on the beach is absolutely LUDICROUS. Please rethink this and DO NOT STORE NUCLEAR WASTE ON THE BEACH.

I can't believe I have to sign something regarding something of this nature. C'mon people wake up. Just look at Japan. Keep in mind 25 years from now all those who approved this will either be retired or dead. Who will inherit this nightmare? Our kids.
