I was the same way except I purposefully bought the lower model (Galaxy S8+) to ensure I had it, but I'm told if i upgrade my Android from 8.0 to 9.0 it'll be gone :( Looks like iPhone 11 has dual camera though xD

Miss the dual camera mode so much. Was going to upgrade but when I found out it was gone I decided to change brand... Bring it back and I'll jump right over.

Loved this feature and cannot fathom why it was abandoned. I'll be looking at upgrading my phone at some point samsung and there are other options that can do this! Get it together

The dual camera was my favorite feature on the galaxy s5. Now I have the galaxy s9+ and it's gone. Please bring it back.

I too have been looking for this feature to return to Samsung Phones for Developers to make apps that use this feature. There are some ROM's that open this for Developing but it's not a solution for consumers. Can't understand why a Company won't give their customers what they want at all?
