The Academic Council of the College of Engineering and Computer Science decides to revise the college constitution in its entirety. The revisions will formulate a new committee structure, reaffirm our role in shared governance, and advocate for the importance of a contemporary engineering education.


[As per the current ECS Constitution, constitution revisions require a signed petition by 15% of the College faculty. Including FERP faculty, the College currently has 62 faculty - 15% is 9.3 and Academic Council has 10 faculty. I'm also distributing to Department Chairs, which will be 22.6% of faculty if all sign.]
