By signing this petition, you are expressing your support for the revision of the Windham High School Uniform Policy. Windham High School students would like to be allowed to wear appropriate clothing. This would foster self expression and responsibility. Students will also learn how to dress appropriately for post secondary success. In addition families would not have to go through the burden of purchasing two sets of clothing for their students. Thank you in advance for your continuous support for Windham High.

Uniforms are expensive and the shirts don't even last the entire school year without looking aweful. Half the students don't follow the dress code and nothing happens so let's just get rid of them!

The student body of windham high school has made numerous efforts to revise the current uniform policy and they have been nothing but professional and polite. Yet, instead of being admired and taken seriously for their efforts, they're simply overlooked.

I feel no need to purchase 2 sets of clothes for my 2 boys. Especially when others dont follow dress code! Also they go to seperate schools so i cant even reuse them!

If you ask for the community to be involved, don't shut them down when they try to be! Always proud of our students when they do the correct, respectful thing!

Uniforms are overpriced and pointless. They take away freedom of expression. I am also disrupted from my learning constantly because people are trying to enforce the policy. On dress down days that has never been an issue. Some also can't afford these uniforms as in the town of Willimantic there are people dealing with tight budgets.

This would save me a lot of money every year. My child is only in 4 the grade and growing so much through the school year that I have a hard time keeping up between regular clothes and uniform clothing it is all too expensive.
