We the undersigned to this letter oppose the unreasonable amount of monthly Career Development points. We think that Career development is an important part of a future healthcare professional. We the undersigned, understand that PD points are only supposed to help develop such skills. However, the change in amount of PD points needed is simply overbearing. To the point where students at Centennial High are debating finishing the pathway. The love of medicine and helping people is blinded by the outrageous demand for PD points. In recent years, the career development standards were attainable, allowing for more focus on the class at hand. This year, the focus of the students is on how many PD points one has to attain in order to pass the class instead of focusing on the material.

Those who sign demand a change in the amount of PD points needed for the class. Not only will this dramatically decrease the amount of students in the Healthcare program, but it will also decrease the amount of love the students have for healthcare. Please sign if you agree with us and pass it on. 75 points a month is un-attainable for an average high school student. We, the student body, protest a change to 40 points a month.
