I'm asking for your helpfamily andfriends,NO matter where you live you can help!.... by signing the petition....
sharethis....We only have until Feb 3rd...we needyour help NOW!

( important links and info to the right )

last year in Socorro County, N.M., despite strong opposition, test drillingforbertrandite/beryllium began. Berylliumis known to cause cancer, it is usedfor many things, including Weapons of mass destruction.

The New Mexico Mineral and Mining Division approved5 tests holes... 1000 ft deep, on what is known as Red Paint Canyon...a place ofgreat religious &cultural significance to both the Warm Springs Apache and Mescalero Apache.

There is a new Concern, a new threat, a new chapter being written in the saga as BE Resources (BER) is now requesting a permit modification after drilling their 5 holes allowed by the permit...

In October 2010, they were granted a permit modification to drill 4 of the holes to a depth of 2000 feet rather than the permits allotted 1000 feet. Now... they would like a modification to drill 20 new holes ranging from 200 - 3,500 feet deep....none of whichissafefor humans, wildlife, waterand the environment... History tells uswhat we need to know, drillingdamages the earth and it becomes a toxic placefor all life...never to return toit's naturalstate, creating scars thatdo notheal.

PLEASEsign the petition- requesting a'Review Process' as a 'Revision'. NOT a permit modification ,NO more drilling
Without our response there willbe NO CONDITIONS on this permit modification request, they will be free to do as the like.

THANK YOU for Protecting our Earth and Sacred Sites,

it's greatly appreciated...

Updates

September 27, 2019

The latest volume of signatures has provided the leverage required to demand a formal revision hearing from the Mining and Minerals Division. I am currently preparing the documentation to ensure this request is categorized as a revision rather than a modification.
