Dear Ms. Armistead (Guardian Books Editor), I am signing this petition to request that you review Taona Dumisani Chiveneko's novel in The Guardian newspaper. The Hangman's Replacement: Sprout of Disruption is premised on Zimbabwe's recent efforts to hire a new hangman after the last one retired in 2004. The Sprout of Disruption is the first in an unfolding series. Released on January 15, 2013, the book has received positive coverage from Kirkus Reviews and Indie Reader. It also has a growing base of readers on Goodreads. The respective reviews can be found at: Kirkus Review: https://www.kirkusreviews.com/book-reviews/taona-dumisani-chiveneko/the-hangmans-replacement/ IndieReader http://indiereader.com/2013/05/the-hangmans-replacementsprout-of-disruption/ Goodreads: http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/17409163-the-hangman-s-replacement I believe this undiscovered book will is quite different from other books on the market and would resonate with many of your readers. (This petition will be sent by post and electronically to Ms. Claire Armitstead, Books Editor at the Guardian newspaper in London, UK by June 27th, 2013).

The Guardian should definitely look into this one. It is such a unique premise and really deserves more eyes on it.
