As a result of significant changes occurred in Egypt in the 3rd of November 2016, Central Bank of Egypt formally decided to decrease EGP exchange rate versus Euro.
Lycée Balzac parents signed to this petition are requesting from school senior management a serious review and re-evaluation for fees payment policy as it will be increased dramatically from 60% - 80% at least.
Seeing 250 families sign onto this has been overwhelming because I know exactly how much this financial burden is weighing on our kitchen tables at home. This growth proves that we are not alone in fearing what these sudden fee hikes will do to our children's education. My inbox is full of your stories and they show exactly why this policy needs a total rethink.

The school management is starting to notice our momentum as we head toward the 250 mark. Please post this link on your social media pages right now so we can hit that goal before our next meeting.

Seeking your understanding for the decision taken by the government against the Egyptian pound, therefore kindly to review school fees increase against Euro new pricing since our income currently been decreased with a min 62%.

Hope you review the fees as it is sudden increase according to euro increase. Either we pay with the normal euro exchange rate same as we paid for the 1st semester or to change the fees to be paid in Egyptian pound. We can not have 50% sudden increase. Thanks for your understanding.

The owners must understand the difficult situation we r in as parents. They can apply from next year a fair amount of the euros needed to be paid and the rest of the fees to be paid in egp but not from this year

We need the school CEO & upper managment to consider this issue.
