If that were true, then any member of the HOA could bring them in as a guest.
Why would there even be a need for membership cards if the sponsor was present, and could just bring them in as a guest ?

According to Lake Forest II MHOA:
"The Association does offer a monthly pickleball guest pass that MEMBERS can purchase for their SPONSORED guests."
"These pickleball pass-holders are guests of members. We are a private facility and a guest CANNOT purchase a pass."
Lastly, if you do not represent the Sun & Sail Club, it is disingenuous to present yourselves as (Sun&Sail Club) in your email. Thank you.

Perhaps you can be more specific. Truth is important. So what is the policy as explained to you for the pricing? Is $30 incorrect? Is $25 incorrect. Is the price the same for one month as opposed to six months? You are correct that a member sponsor is required, but that misses the point that this in not the policy for the workout facilities, the pools, the tennis court, the volleyball courts or the basketball courts. A guest should be allowed when they come with their host. If the gym for example only required a sponsor then I would expect overcrowding to be the result and then the HOA members would be disadvantaged. This issue was discussed in detail at the last board meeting which I attended. Were you there? Who exactly did you discuss this with (the front desk has many different employees that have a limited role). Perhaps you can be more specific before you make accusations regarding "correct information".

As a homeowner and pay monthly homeowner fees to use our facilities, I do not feel it is proper that the public can use our facilities. This should be used exclusively for the residents of the Sun and Sail Club. If a homeowner wants to bring a guest, that is a different situation, but our facilities should NOT be open for public use WITHOUT the homeowner. This is why we chose to live in the community and use the facilities that our dues goes for. If someone from the public falls or gets hurt, we are financially liable. Please make sure to keep our amenities PRIVATE and used by the Sun and Sail residents.

You don't even know half the information, don't spread rumors and lies until you find out the absolute truth, the front desk is more knowledgeable on this matter than you think.

What you have probably seen is pickle ballers using the amenities when they are signed on the GREEN GUEST SHEET at the front desk. There is a difference. THE PICKLEBALL Month pass is only VALID during PB open play days whereas a green guest sheet, a member has to sign them in, and then they can use any amenity, they pay the $5 guest fee still. It's just like if a member has a guest come in and go swimming, they sign the green guest pass at the front, then that guest can use the gym, pools, other amenities, etc. members that sponsor for nonmembers are good at keeping their guests in check and from what I've seen when PB is happening in the morning time, no one is using the facilities, ON TOP OF THAT the facility services can easily go out and tell anyone who is not supposed to be where they are to leave.
Talk to the front desk, they are extremely knowledgable on these rules rather than listen to the mispread of information, ask the truth first before listening to fellow gossip.
They still have to follow the rules, but as mentioned above if the member signs their guest on a green guest sheet (WHICH IS THE SAME RULES FOR EVERYONE ELSE) then they can go to the jacuzzis, pools, etc.

First off, this isn't even the correct information. There is no discount for the passes, and the guests can only use the passes during strict "Open Play" hours, they are NOT allowed to use them anywhere else and a member has to sponsor them, they just can't come in. If you want the truth ask the front desk for the rules and policies, I have asked and what you say here is wrong and misinformed information. They are not membership cards that allow them to use the clubhouse at any time.

Please protect the Homeowners Sail Club, and not make available the Facilities we pay for, to the public.
