Just over a week ago, the German government announced that it will not be providing a large number of refugees with asylum. The numbers for which the government are now accomodating are more than half of the estimated refugees heading towards Germany. With this abrupt change, many Syrian refugees will be left indefinitely stranded.
I have finalized the formal brief detailing the consequences of this policy shift for Syrian refugees. This document is now being delivered to the offices of key decision makers in the parliament. My focus remains on securing a direct review of these asylum quotas.

This is just wrong. Everyone deserves safety and germany has the space to help. We cant just turn our backs on people fleeing from war.
