We cannot. Like many people in the neighborhood, our garage is taken by other things. We have a family who has cars parked in the driveway and an additional car that we park wherever we can find room for.

Can you not park in your garage?

I don't believe a HOA can override a city ordinance and the street is common area. I also believe there needs to be signage about towing.

Do not allow this parking to continue. We are not an apartment building. We are private homes. We have guests and do not want them to walk blocks because we have an HOA that is short sighted and unkind. We need to be a reasonable community and THIS not reasonable. Focus on lawns- leave our vehicles, guests alone.

This rule puts silly restrictions that serve no purpose other than to create division in the community. More importantly, this affects the safety of families who have to park on the side roads late at night when there have been known homeless people wandering the woods on the side road. I would be incredibly upset if my wife had to feel unsafe because a small group of people couldn't fathom a car in front of their house. By enforcing this rule, you are effectively saying that you are okay with the harm that comes to families if it means that people can admire your house (Hint, no one is admiring your house).

I believe the current parking situation is a petty affair directed at specific family. I am against targeting individual neighbors with exclusionary policies hence inequities!

This is turning out to be an apartment complex and just because few individuals have a parking preference they cannot enforce the same rules in the whole community.

I often have heavy boxes that I need to load and unload, It is a major inconvenience to have to pull up to my curb to load or unload my packages and then have to go find parking or go get my car to do so. The side parking on Eider is almost always full anyway. What if we can't find parking?
