Very dangerous implications indeed. Any person can "identify" him/herself with whatever they want, no questions can be asked. Predators can get in any women's bathrooms with children, This is unsafe. This is ABSURD!

This creates a huge safety issue for a lot of people, and benefits such a small number of people... Surely there must be a better answer to accommodate transgender people without giving such access to pervs who will take advantage!

For the safety of our women and children please forbid the access of "anyone" into any restroom, locker room or shower facility.

Don't make a gender identity issue our problem by enacting all schools and businesses to allow anyone access to any restroom, locker room, or shower facility based on how they "feel".

The Commission forgets that non-transgender people can lie about their identity. This allows potential predators open access to restroom s of the opposite sex.

once comeone came through my window and put a knife to my throat and raped me and then proceeded to tell me he was going to kill me for an hour and a half. I was a single mother with a two year old that listened to the whole thing happen. This was 30 yers ago. I have never ridden a bus since and it took 5 years before I could sleep through the night with the lights off. To this day I am paranoid in public places. I never go on walks even in the daytime. Sad to say this person was never caught and traumatized me for life. I don't think people that make these decisions even care how they are affecting other people. I should feel safe in public and many men downplay what it is like to be raped. They have no idea how bad it scars. I don't hate people who want to be gay, but I should not have to have my safety comprmised just for them. There is no way in hell I would let my grandaughter use a restroom with a man in it. One bad encounter and it would destroy her life. I know the person that did this to me followed me or lived close and stalked me. I just think things are going a bit too far. why not keep a mens room and womens room and a separate one with only one toilet in it for everything else, including parents with a child of opposite sex, so a dad can take his daughter in safely.

I am a mother of six. Public restrooms have always been nerve wracking to send my kids into. I am very angry that WA has now made them more dangerous to children.

Laws should not be enacted on the whim of a few. The people should have had a chance to vote on this. And saying it was "silently" enacted, means they snuck it in because they didn't think they could get it approved if it DID go to a vote. Those people should be removed from their position.

You are putting same sex people in jeopardy for the sake of a few..this is dangerous...make a specific area...just like handicap stalls to accommodate... Make there own gender bathrooms...do not force this down our throats...showers bathrooms open dressing areas ...is not a responsible safe move

This current "bathroom bill" is a totally idiotic bill without any thought of how this will harm children and punish the 95%+ of all people who don't want to share bathrooms with the opposite sex while rewarding the 5%- who want to declare themselves as the ones being harmed.

Please, please, please consider doing all that can possibly be done to fully revoke this rule. It is a dangerous threat to the safety and well-being of the women and children of this state. Of equal importance is that fact that it was passed without the knowledge and hearing of the people of this state and is currently being kept from a hearing in the House by House Judiciary Chair Laurie Jinkins. This is undermining and not in the best interest of any citizen of Washington state, let alone her constituents. She is an elected official and is choosing to keep us all in the dark? Intolerable!
