This is a open door for child rap and people being taken advantage of not a comforting feeling for a mother.

Your lack of common sense absolutely amazes me. It is time that you begin thinking rationally and serve this nation in useful ways! KEEP THE GIRLS' BATHROOM A GIRLS' ONLY BATHROOM (chromosomal XX requirement).

This is NOT protecting our woman and children from those who seek to do harm. This is inexcusable and demoralizing for the state of Washington.

Our kids have a right to be protected. We have a right to ask questions to protect our kids. And while someone may see this as harmless, it opens the door for opportunists.

A guy should not be allowed to go into a woman's bathroom, that's wrong.

While I understandy that identifying as a gender other than your own and being stuck in the wrong body would suck, I do not want to have my niece in the same bathroom as a man. I think this will allow people to take advantage. How about making a unisex bathroom and give people the choice to use it while keeping the men's and women's separate?

It's too open. We allow people with disabilities bring in service animals (which is certainly acceptable )But, we cannot ask what them if it is truly a service animal. So, anyone and everyone all of a sudden has a "service" animal. People abuse the law. Allowing anyone to use the restroom of their choice will open up to anyone choosing to abuse this and putting woman and children in harms way. I understand the complexity of people identifying as another gender. Family style restrooms are a compromise.

I am a rape victim and want to know who is looking out for my right to feel safe. I am fully supportive of people's life choices and what gender they identify with, but there are no safeguards in this law to keep women safe in the locker room or the bathroom. Under this law, any man can say he identifies as a woman even if he doesn't and can use the women's facilities. Is the state liable for any rape or attack of a woman if she is alone in a bathroom and a man falsely identifying as a woman confronts and attacks her? This seems like a law that was pushed through back doors and not all sides were consulted or considered.
